how to get there

The nearest airports are Albany and Hartford, each under an hour away by car or bus.  Let us know when you're coming in--we'll try to arrange pick-ups for those who'd rather not rent a car. Southwest airlines flies into both Hartford and Albany and is a great deal if you're not coming from too far away (or if you don't mind a few stops and a great many peanuts). However, all major airlines fly into Albany and Hartford. We recommend Orbitz for the best airfares.

BY LAND
Many of you will want to drive your own car, rent a car or carpool. The drive is lovely and it'll sure be handy to have a car over the weekend. Check out our driving directions.

Note: you can get to the wedding by bus or train! Amtrak will take you from points south to Hudson, NY (a 40 minute drive from Stockbridge and, again, contact us to arrange pick-up/drop-off). Three bus lines can take you within miles or even blocks of your lodging: Bonanza, Peter Pan and Greyhound. Look for buses that stop in Great Barrington, Lee, Lenox and/or Stockbridge.

If you're coming from New York, consider taking advantage of MetroNorth's train-bus deal: $13 each way, drops you off in the center of Great Barrington, minutes from most hotels (and walking distance from the Days' Inn) and our place.
